Sew Liberated wants to support you – craftivists, WAHMs (work-at-home moms), students, and anyone interested in using their creativity and mad sewing skills to supplement their income. Through our innovative Cottage Industry Partners Program, you have the chance to use Sew Liberated pattern designs to tap into the ever-growing handmade movement. Aren’t familiar with it? Over 18,000 people have signed the handmade pledge (myself included):

Every day I receive emails from folks who are looking to purchase one of my pattern designs ready-made. As much as I would LOVE to have the time to whip something up for everyone, I just can’t. It’s enough being a pattern designer – I’ll leave the sewing to you!

Here’s how it works: You send me a handful of detailed photos of your handiwork and I review them to make sure they are up to par. Once you’re approved, you can pay either a yearly licensing fee of $100 or a lifetime fee of $900 for the right to sell any of my designs for profit – at craft fairs, online, etc. Feel free to use my pattern names, too. What’s more? Advertising is included – you’ll get your business’s badge posted prominently on the Sew Liberated website, under the “Where to Buy” section.
